Lola's Filipino Diner

Visited Saturday afternoon for the Ultimate Burger Steak special and it was AWESOME. You get a little bit of everything (chicken, burger, egg, rice, fries AND a spring roll), so you get to experience all the different flavours. Our order was taken promptly, the food came out quickly, and was fresh. The chef came out and spoke to us afterward to ask what we thought of the meal, which was really impressive. He was super lovely! Love Lola's. Please do Ultimate Burger Steak more often!!

Came here excited to try something different and was pleased to see it was still relatively early and there were only 3 other tables filled, some with food already. I had my hopes up for a solid feed. Went with my little one who was getting impatient - a table of 3 and I only got my food 45 minutes later! Pretty sure the restaurant prioritised the takeaway orders which were getting picked up I did check with the kitchen past the half hour point. Made it slightly depressing seeing plenty of orders going by. Ambience is a bit street food style- slightly oily room with slightly oily tables. Really noisy and really hot inside. I did really enjoy the fluffy buttery mashed potato and the flavour of the chicken was pretty spot on. However the adobo pork was way too salty and the eggplant was drenched in oil and we struggled to stomach much of it. Best part of my meal was leaving. If you’re ok waiting a long time in an Asian food court style environment maybe this is for you- go for the chicken and mash.

First real Filipino food experience, food is always great as if the service. Small cosy little place. Fairly disappointed that they removed the burger from the menu… It definitely changed the frequency I visited. Place is a bit difficult to get to if your not on foot. The kitchen can be a bit of a wait but the food is worth it! Bottomless tea! What else can I say!

Stopped in here to catch up with a few friends that are in and out of Perth frequently. Food was really great and tasty. The chicken inasal with chipotle chilli basting was fresh and vibrant and had some kick which is exactly what I was after ! Garlic rice was fantastic to ! The service though lacked heavily only one young girl running around trying to help everyone. Wasn’t her fault she was doing her best just think they need one extra person on the floor. Food came out weirdly with people having finished wasting before half of us got food. Table of 8 by the way. Overall I would go back for the food.

I am a filipino and I know how a good filipino food taste like. I myself is a good gook and I have a discriminating taste, in other words, my standards when it comes to quality prepared food is high. We ordered chicken inasal from this lousy restaurant and the food was horrible. Does not even deserve 1 star. Do not buy from this shop total waste of money
